1963 2 door engine
We decided that this Cortina should just be fitted with an original engine, The engine that will be used in this car is a 'freshly' built 1500 fitted with 1500GT crank, new pistons, side draught 42mm Weber's and full head recondition including new 1600 GT valves and hardened seats. Speco camshaft 468 grind with 35-75 and 280 tho lift.

The Story
This car is built to run on unleaded fuel. The main reasons why are, the leaded super fuel that we all 'use' to use not so long ago has now gone. The only fuel close is lead replacement fuel and its nothing like super fuel we used to use, eventually you will find that this fuel will be phased out all together. This is why we choose to convert to unleaded. In fact any older type leaded fuel cars should do so also, if you are rebuilding the engine or head. Electronic ignition will also be used.

Webber's
After a lengthy search we now have four 42mm Webber's only the best matched pair will be used. K&N aircleaners have been fitted. Period style Thompson valve cover has been fitted.
