Engine management 'Autronic'
The man behind Autronic Electronics, Richard Aubert (Dip App Phys, B App. Sc.), was one of the original partners in the MoTeC business. He left to start his own business and his products have been very successful, especially in Australian professional motor sport Group A and N touring cars and rally cars, Drag racing, Water ski race boats. Autronic produces three main systems; the smaller SMC the SM2 and now the new SM4 ECU's. He also no produces replacement boards for Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi EVO cars. All are 3D and are sequential. Also two exhaust gas analyzers and now offers the 'Autotune™ ' option which enables hands free tuning, no input is required from the user other than running the engine through its various RPM and load sites.

..................................................................................................

What we use
We have fitted the SMC to the Cortina 4 door as well as there ignition system an Autronic 500r CDI. Fitting these units then does away with ignition modules. Then just requiring suitable coils to suit. We will be running 1 coil per cylinder. ECU's are upgradable from Autronic. If you would like to know more please visit Autronic web site.
