We have been driving, maintaining, modifying and trading in Cortina Mk1s for over 25 years. We travel some distance to find them too. So if you know of one sitting in a yard or paddock that may be going to meet its end in a scrap yard please contact us...

MK1s on the drag strip
There are several Cortina Mk1's having regular runs down the drag strip. So we've created this page highlighting those people racing them. There are many Cortina's drag racing around the world but the majority of these are V8 powered usually strip only cars. So we thought we would give some attention to 4 cylinder powered Cortina's and a place to compare yours with similar cars.
If you know of car in your part of the world that has made several pass's down the strip or made some 'good numbers' on a dyno we would love to hear from you. If you would like to be included please contact us with details. EG: Name of owner, Location & date, Elapsed time, mph, what type of engine and engine mod's were on the car, and if applicable horsepower. If possible please send a couple of pictures. Well done! Great effort and thanks to those who have contributed :) Only first letters of surnames will be used. Updated 18th December 2010
